My case was sent to my embassy country on June 29, and they received it on July 12, and my priority date was current and they have told me that they were going to send to me mi final pkt 4, but now, they (the embassy people) told me that I have to wait until october with the new fiscal year when the visa authorizations for F2A are unavailable.

Someone could please tell me what will happen with my case now that 2A numbers SUBJECT to per-country limit are “Unavailable”? On October the embassy will call on me?? my priority date will be yet current?? please!! I am so worried about... I was so close and now I don´t know... please!!

I know your wait has been very long but unfortunately all you can do is wait. Your priority date may be current but until a visa becomes available there is little you can do. Visa applications subject to preference categories are processed in chronological order according to the priority date. There is no way of any of us guessing how long that wait may be.

All the best and I hope the wait is not too much longer for you. Hang in there. You are almost there.
