Hello,

I called NVC yesterday and I was able to get the case number for 130 from AVR. But i was not able to get the case number for 129F(k3) and it kept saying no record found. I then talked to an agent the other day who said my K3 (129f) was in AP but she was nice and she gave me the case number for 129F. I called again Today to enquire about the 129F and i still get no record found but when i talked to the agent he said that it is not in AP but was forwarded to the embassy. So now I am suprised as one rep said it was in AP and today in just TWO days one rep said it was forwarded to the embassy. And the AVR says no record found.

So if the rep said it is forwarded to the embassy then it means it is out of AP , correct?

Since K3 are moved to embassy quickly is it normal that the aVR says no record found for K3 but 130's give out the case number in phone AVR?

(on the side note i asked the kind rep if we can pursue both 130 and K3 and the rep said we can. So for now we are going to pursue both and I am going to pay up the AOS fee and IV fee and whatever interview comes first is what we are going to take. The rep said that unless we send it in writing to stop say K3 , they will go ahead and schedule the interview for K3 and just because we are paying for AOS fee and IV fee will not stop the K3.)

God bless.

The embassy can do their own version of the AP.

but at least it's moving!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
