Hi,

My fiance had a medical in September 2005, arrived in December 2005 and we are working on AOS.

He has a copy of his vaccination supplement worksheet. He also has a copy of his chest x-ray.

Do we have to go to a civil surgeon and have another medical? If not, what do we include in the AOS package. Do we just leave out the I-693?

I thought by getting the vaccination supplement, you somehow avoided the need for another medical.

Thanks,

Rebecca

You do not need another medical unless they ask you to get one - which is usually only if it is more than a year since your previous one.

Definitely send the I-693 vaccination supplement with the AOS package, not sending this is one of the more common reasons for an RFE

I just sent the Vacination records that I got from the K-1 medical back in March. I didn't send in a Supplement form or have another medical done.

I had my interview today and was never asked for the supplement or even the original vacination record that I had given a copy of in my original AOS application.

I think it really depends on who you get for an Interviewer. The guy we had was Awesome.

Good Luck.

Thanks ! Don't go by what your district office states as to what they're working on. I didn't expect to get an interview till at least May !

Goodluck when you do get that Interview letter tho !

Definitely get the I-693 supplement without the whole medical exam. We were in the same position, having only just done a medical in the UK a few months before. But we decided to get the supplement done anyway as a precaution, and wouldn't you know, they asked for it today at our interview!

So it pays to play it safe. You never know what they might ask of you!

Good luck! :)
