Thanks in advance for all your response. I filed an I-130 for my spouse in october and received the NOA1 on october 19 2009 and then proceed to file an I-129F and also received a NOA1 on october 30th 2009.

I'ven't received any NOA2 since then and haven't seen any touches. I tried calling USCIS to know what's going on with my applications and it has always connected me to a computer and not a human.

My question is, is there a special number to call inorder to talk to a human and not computer or is there something i have to press when i call 1-800-375-5283 ? I heard that only an attorney can call and talk to a human. I've seen some approvals from filers in october 2009.

Your responses will be appreciated.

Thanks.

It's better if you wait. Senators and Congressman will get the same response that you will, that you are well within normal processing times. Use your Senator if you don't hear anything for more than 5 months

Waiting is the hardest part, but this proces does take time.

Good luck

Hi! You need to 1st answer #1 if for English & then push *1 & a live operator will answer! Good Luck!

Hi I'm new at this so excuse me if I messed up trying to answer a ? for someone. I filed a I-129F for fiance visa & it was approved in US but denied from Nigeria. We decided that we would go ahead & get married instead, so we were told to file an I-130 after the marriage. Is anyone familiar with that process & is that a good way to & how prompt is that procedure?

Getting married does not erase the reasons for your denial. 1st you'll have to formally cancel the K-1 visa by sending a notarlized letter to USCIS. After you've filed the I-130 you'll still have to answer for the reasons for the K-1 denail

angle4life file the I-129F for the K-3 visa - she is married and applying for a spousal visa, I suggest you do some reading to familiarize yourself with this procedure

good luck.
