will have a new job in Australia by July and wil be relocating probabaly on June. Any information would be appreciated as i don't know what I need to do regarding my

green card. Do I need to inform USCIS about relocation. His contract is 3 years . It's agood and rewarding salary or we will not accept this job. But I don't want to abandon

my status here. If anybody who have information with the same situation please do tell me. I need to do it before leaving.

Thanking everyone in advance for the information.

If you aren't going to be spending any time in the US then you can't maintain the LPR status.

You could turn in your GC when you leave and then apply DCF prior to returning to the US. There are other VJ members that have done this is similar circumstances.

Thank you for the information. It's just so bad that when i just get my green card this oppurtunity comes but the compensation is very rewarding that we really have

a hard time deciding wether to accept not. Do I need to surrender my GC before leaving? Or I can make an infofass appointment prior to this.
