In the East: Asia and Pacific forum, there are two topics that are related pinned, and another two also related, pinned as well. It differentiates the Australians, and Vietnamese. Why can't they both be combined since they are covering the same thing?

Due to this, I find it a dissappointment that other topics that are also essentials to other nations don't get pinned. In fact, I am just furious that only the Australians and Vietnamese gets pinned.

If you believe a topic should be pinned forward the information to Captain Ewok - he is the only one who can pin a topic - or post it in this forum so he can see it. The users of the forums are the best ones to decide which threads are so useful that they should be pinned - or are no longer useful and should be unpinned. Thanks!

Did you use the special contact function? It is the fastest and surest way to bring something to his attention. You will also receive a 'receipt' and a notification when the issue is addressed. Here is the link: http://www.visajourney.com/contact/

I am not ignoring you but I was also in a location the last two days without internet except intermittently. Obviously this would not be good for me to post. I will take a look. A min (but not sole) reason to pin a topic is when a topic is very popular and read a lot. I will take a peak. Once reason to have separate topics that may be similar (in Regionals) is language barriers, unique consulate stuff, etc..

I just took a look. The pinned topics are country specific conversation. People interesting in country specific conversation post in those. I pinned the most popular topics. I unpinned one also. They are not really related so merging seems incorrect.

Can't you pin it yerself, with a stack o quantum pins?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Not sure why the one got unpinned... because there are only a few in HCMC AP now? That topic has been a real asset for those in AP... lets hope that those still in AP or that end up there have sense enough to search for that topic...

I unpinned because it only had 2-3 posts the last month.

I would be happy to re-pin it but if so I would probably unpin the country specific topics. Thoughts?

I am going to take back my previous posts for now. After reviewing this I am going to pin specific hot topics, but not country specific chat topics. I do not want any country to feel left out and not pinned. I will review this policy later but this seems the most fair and keeps the pinned topics to the most important topics (not just chat).

I will create a pinned topic linking to all the major country threads :).

why not split off VN with its own area such as PI has...
