Post-decision activity waiting time

I filed for CR-1 visa for my wife on 9/11/09 and we have been accepted. On the uscis.gov website, it states "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Now, I called the customer service at this number and was told that it would take at least 30 days for the notice to arrive. Is this true? My wife planned on going back to Korea on March to proceed to the next step and we're wondering if this trip can either be expedited to an earlier time or would need to be extended. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as you. Are you military? I think they say the 30 day thing to CYA...kind of just a blanket statement....I hope anyway. There should be a date that they said they sent out the approval notice on the USCIS site. I would look for it in about a week or less after that date.
