and a second question, what happened if there is any mistake on the forms? even on the affidavit of support?

and to conclude: what are the main reasons to get denied?

The forms have instructions if you need to sign them now, prior to sending them in, or at the interview. Just follow the instructions for the form you are working with.

If there is a mistake, they will make you correct them - which would delay your application.

For a K-1 - main reasons to be denied can be:

1. Not a bona fide relationship (only doing it for immigration purposes, for example)

2. Low income of the petitioner.

3. Misrepresentation from either party.

I would relax and just go over the forms/instructions with your petitioner.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Denial? That really depends on the embassy - but they usually allow you to correct any errors (again, may delay your application).

Just go over the forms carefully and with your petitioner prior to using them.

(Moved from K-1 to Embassy - more related)

its just DS-156,156k,157 and the little one certifying i want to get married.

so im gunna date and sign them

for the main reasons...then i can go confident!

so i can not get denied for a mistake on a form?

thanks for you patience and help

You DON'T sign 156k, nor the half page they sent to you!

It's clearly mentionned the CO will assist you for the very last part of 156k!

Same for the "little one" that was sent with packet 3. You'll have to sign it in front of the CO.

The rest, you can sign.

And holy cheese...!

i dont have any album (numerical pictures made people stop to make albums...)

and her family hates pictures, unfortunately.

i only have a few pictures that i printed, ill bring them to the interview.

just in case they doubt i havent met her family

but its just a few.

im stressing because i dont know how i will do without her if im denied.

everything looks perfect: forms, pictures, passport, affidavit of support, tomorrow medical exam which should be fine, a few extra pictures of me with her family, a true relation, the "mandat-compte" of 91.70€, the chronopost envelop..... but im naturally stressed.

im just scared something will go wrong.
