okay just to play the devils advocate on the hair braiding thing because when I asked Mikel said heck no too. BUT they don't have a problem with a man cutting their hair and trimming up their face (and they are all up in their face when they are trimming it) what is the difference with braiding their hair?

You read my mind Dillon. I was just about to post this same question......I called G and asked him and he said he would neva "SID DOWN BETWEEN NO MAN LEG". I told him they stand and do it.

I am rolling, girl NO  yuh knoa how much bad word yuh would hear from my Hubby :wow:

I have an idea, cause it would probably sound something like how Steven sounded when he told me about this.

I asked Steven that exact thing. He'd go to a barbershop for a hair cut or a shave, so what's so different. He said they're not playing in your hair as one does with corn-rowing, followed by a bunch of words that started with bumba & batty.

Hi tenika!

Are you filing AOS or LOC? Looks like your hubby has been here for awhile that is why I was asking. I thought you had to file AOS soon after you get married.

Hmmm, never heard of LOC. We are filing AOS, they said that is what we needed to file. Yeah we have been married a couple of years... soon after I lost my job and did not have anyone to be a cosponsor. When I started to be self employed I was told incorrectly that I need at least 3 years of self employment income. I researched that answer again and found out that was not the case and also has since found a sponsor. So needless to say this is why we are just filing.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE HELLOS.. i feel welcomed. Back when I first filed this was a bangin board also. We became pretty good friends back then on and off board. Of course no one is here now from that time.
