Still sending prayers, Philly -- My co-worker is off today bc they have had some bad news - it's just heart wrenching, and I understand feeling helpless - just keep strong and positive thoughts - there is power in prayer!

A breaded version of the Jamaican oxtail recipe.

Ingredients

2 cups oxtail chopped

* tbsp tbsp onion powder

* tbsp escallion chopped

* tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp soy sauce

* tsp salt

* tsp black pepper

* tsp allspice

* tbsp thyme leaves

* cup vegetable oil

1 egg beaten

1 cup bread crumbs

Preparation

1. Cook the oxtail in a pressure cooker or in boiling water until soft.

2. Remove and season oxtail with seasoning and allow to marinate for at least *

hour.

3. Dip in egg and then in bread crumbs.

4. In a large frying pan saut* escallions and add breaded oxtails.

5. Fry until brown.

6. Serve hot.

LMAO - I leave on the 14th - Probably be in Mo Bay Sat - Sun, cause I don't feel like trying to drive from Portland to the airport on Sun - 1st half of the trip is settled, the second half is up in the air at the moment -

And LMAO at our hoodie - I have to remember not to wear that this trip, or find another before I go!

Philly and everyone who's going through a hard time w' the situation in haiti. I'll have you all in my prayers.

IrieCat: I'm pretty young but this always works: candle light dinner @ home (his favorite meal of course!), don't forget desert and some nice soft music in the bedroom and you know what's next. Don't rip off the lingere, save it for another occasion!

MrsTee: my interview is February 12th so hopefully for Valentines we'll be celebrating passing our interview and of course, no matter what the outcome, our love for each other.

Philly - my prayers are with you and your family . I've heard 3 success recovery stories today..hopefully you will get some news soon.

I was off work this week but wish I could have worked the Haitain task force. Donating money doesn't feel like I'm doing enough.

Damien's job donated $1 milllion worth of water and $1 million in cash. And we plan on going to a few fundraisers this weekend.

I sent an email to the site I order my Nollywood movies from checking on the status of my shipment cause. I need to know so I can otherwise occupy myself and try to forget about the perils of this disaster. At the end of my email to them I asked them to please pray for Haiti, and they replied that they were indeed praying for our Brother and Sisters a rather long response but that was the gist of it and that we all have to support each other in this time of crisis and they are praying for me and my family.

They never did tell me about my shipment LOL but I was so happy to get that email, the show of support has touched my heart. I told my Mom I was coming over to look at pictures I think I need to relive the good memories right now. One love everyone
