We need to get out and go to the movies.. Problem is I always fall asleep too comfortable I guess. Maybe I will get Hurricane Siyah (my niece) and my nephew. Im going to see how much it costs to take them to the Please Touch Museum this way I don't have to yell when they wanna "touch" everything lol

Don't worry Philly, the name change will be fairly painless. Just make sure you change your SS first or I don't know if your DMV will do it. I had to have my updated SS card as one of the verification docs to update my DL.

Havent been on here in about 2 weeks. Everything is ok with me. They buried my granny today and it was so hard becaus its FINAL.

I love Flash he has been so supportive since my granny left and that just confirms the reason why I love him and married him. He was a pallbearer, and was willing to help the whole time from the death to the funeral what whatever he could do.

and I so envy you. I wish I lived in San Francisco it looks sooo beautiful in movies and everyone raves about the wonderful architecture and people. It is on my bucket list of places to visit.

I think everyone should visit here at least once. Don't envy me too much though...it is so dang expensive here. It is nice that there is always a lot of activity & culture here. When we have to leave here (since I know we'll never be able to afford a home here) I'll definitely miss many parts of it badly.

One of the biggest issues is that she takes sides with all of us, me Q and A and it drives me crazy she treats A like a King and us like peasants. All of a sudden having them over is an issue and she wants my Dad to stay here while we are gone but I'm gonna be honest he is flaky I mean he will be here but watching LAWD. She has a 7 bedroom house and because her boyfriend has an issue they aren't staying there and now some drumming class takes precedence I'm just done Tee

I agree with your anger because of the principle of the matter. Of course if you're not the one spending the money, a 'little extra' is no big deal but when it's your money, well then no one wants someone else to assume that an increase is going to be okay. He should be thinking on the terms that he has as much responsibility to keep an eye on your funds as you do. I go through similar frustrations with my hubby too.

Ok Yardies I need to rant real quick!!!!!

I'm just trying to figure out when did the branch of "Bank of Ash" open up in the U.S. cause I have had two different friends call me and ask to borrow money...knowing that Den is just getting here and not going to be able to work for a while! One of them I loaned it to her as we go back to like middle school...she promised to pay me back like a week later...that was almost two months ago and still no money!

I mean I understand, that it can happen to anyone we all can fall short but dang why I always have to be Captain save a Ho!!!! Should I feel bad for saying no ? I mean its not just about me anymore...I will be married in 6 days and the thing that burns me up is that one of these friends in particular was the same one talking about don't let Den use me and this and that and damn here she go with the poe mouf and her hand out...

Rant on my friend! Yes, you are supporting an extra person now & you have every right to say no to any future requests. Also, things like your friend not paying you back are what make me never mix friendship & money. I just don't do it. I'd rather have someone mad at me for not loaning them $$ than me being out a bunch of money & me being the one who is mad at them!

That's cool. I didn't know some places were so good to their residents. We have some free days to museums but this city is all about making money! How else would our politicians survive with their opulent lifestyles here??

WHY did my co-worker who is short and weighs about 320lbs have a big rip in his pants from his inner thigh to his outer thigh on the back of his pants, want to stay at work like that I said "Oh nooooooooooo you gots to get outta here" I will tell our boss what happened. He lives close enough to go and come back. Better yet, there is a Target about 2 minutes away from where we work.. I said why don't you go buy a pair or do you need needle and thread.. I almost went blind in one eye from that sight! I looked like this

Not sure Target would be able to cater to him....he sounds pretty big. He definitely needed to go home.

Even Jermaine at least has some style and he CAN sing. This guy is just R-O-N-G... RONG!!! Who the heck actually filmed this guy....and WHY??? American Idol would have a field day with him.

Oh, btw...it is day 4 without talking to my hubby....long story short I told him we both need to focus on getting our SH*T together (work for him/school for me/finances for both) and chat in a week or so......this is the first time in 17 months we havent spoken every day....am I wrong that I actually feel ok???? I have just been in a Byatchy mood lately and he was getting the brunt of it so......

I think it's okay to take a breather & it's normal to get in those moods. Of course, I've been biatchy lately too so maybe I'm not the best one to be adding my 2 cents!

We are going after 5 I think. Last year it didn't work out so well cause everyone was a little tipsy by then. We ended up at Al Hrbosky's and then just headed into the S. City. Hopefully better this year. Might hit the parade in the a.m. too, if we dont' have to help my ex move first. I want to see the WIL float with the 35 couples getting married on it.
