Do you like country music? (I'm not big on it but I know a song that brings tears to my eyes if you're interested.)

I agree completely - the only annoying thing is the dryness, but I would rather put drops in than deal with contacts / glasses - I am 4 years post surgery and still 20/20

It's a deductible health expense - I put the money in my health care account, so it was taken out of my pay over the year - Also, if you factor the costs of glasses / contacts over a min of 10 years - it's actually cheaper to do Lasiks

That's good to know. I do worry about side effects but I also agree that I'd prefer dry eyes to glasses. I could snowboard again without having to have something over my eyes to shield my contacts. I could water ski again & be able to see cause I can't wear contacts doing that. There is so much that would improve I'm sure.

Good things to think about with the expenses.

It sucks - it's one of the biggest reasons I don't want a big wedding or to get married where I live -cause like every little girl, I always pictured my wedding and how it would be - But my Dad is not here to walk me down the aisle. If I think of my wedding here, I start to cry - if I think of a wedding in JA or Vegas - I can handle it - makes no sense, I know!

It totally makes sense! :crying:

My Dad & I have a rollercoaster relationship....sometimes I love him & other times I hate him but despite all that, I purposely didn't want to do the father/daughter dance because I DID NOT want to cry on my wedding day!
