DaDa kids will adjust but it will still be hard on them. My daughter and I lived with my parents from the time she was 1 until she was 3. They live in Las Vegas as you know and we moved to St Louis when she was 3. It was the best move for us but my daughter still really misses them a lot and we try to see them as much as possible. Leaving is always hard but after a few hours and a trip to get some ice cream she seems better. Plus I let her go stay with them for the summers and that gives them some great time together. Mayby you could do that with your kids? Just an idea.

Dada...I understand the scared feeling but I also always say you don't want to look back on life and say....I should have moved to NC...wonder what that would have been like...I wonder if it would have worked. I say try it...if it doesn't work you can always move back to Pittsburgh. I have done this myself...more than once and let me tell you it has always worked out. You are going to miss your family and friends just prepare yourself for that. You have to give yourself at least a year to make it work...if you don't like it after that start making plans to move home. Life is short and you have always said you don't want to be stuck in Pittsburgh.

awww dada.. i can imagine the kids disappointment, but if ur ex can talk with them and help them feel better bout the situation, i bet they will be okay.. lots of times along with missing him, the kids feel sorry for the other parent..

Girl yes, I was spending too much a month on cell phone. I've been pleased with Boost so far. It's no contract so if I ever decide to go back to another carrier then I'm free to do that!

i might have to look into that for my daughter.. i was gonna get her the curve on metropcs, but boost is nationwide right???

Its Feburary 1st and I am counting the days for the interview in three weeks. I cant wait for the big day so I can be with my wife but I keep praying everyday that everything goes well. Dont feel bad Q. My mom (rest her soul) was NEVER on time for anything and my sister is just like her. My grandma (her mom) used to say she was going to be late for her own funeral lol.. Some people just don't feel the need to stress it as much as others. My problem with lateness is that I hate getting dressed for anything. If I could go places nekkid in flip flops, I would lol I hate being the first one dressed and have to wait. I make it a point to be the last.

Morning all!!!! Here @ work. Weather is cold. But it's Feb so next month is spring!!! I have to set my mind like this b/c I dislike winter. Refreshing or not, I can't tolerate the cold.

Anyhow, Dens!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is the day! How is the weather down there?! I remember picking up Cory as if it were yesterday. Hope everything is prepared for his arrival.

My weekend was quiet. To cold outside. My pumpkin head son went with his dad so Cory & I just watched movies & BS with each other. BTW, we applied for SS on Friday.

Got the TMobile G1 cell phone this weekend, after having my last cell phone for over 3 years. Depressed by the increase in monthly bill for [mandatory] data plan.

I experience this mainly when getting Steven to come to stuff he's not eager about. If it's early, the problem is getting him out of bed. What helps is if he already has his clothes & shoes picked out & ready to put on.

For night stuff, it isn't as much of a problem for us.

How do you like the phone We don't have TMobile but it looks hot?

I know for V-Day Im DEFINITELY getting Steve a soccer ball. Seeing him play make believe soccer in the living room is blowing my mind! My daughter will have fun learning from him as she has taken an interest in soccer (futbol). Im also thinking of buying him some jewelry. I think I will cook him a nice dinner at home. My daughter is taking him to get me something for V-day.

Girl Damian used to play with the boys but its too cold LOL he cannot wait to get home so he can play. They usually play in the Church yard up deh road and have competition and us girls would go and hang out and Chat deh SUS I do miss that! He is so good too everyone wanted Tall Man on their team!

I agree I pay 95.12 a month for T-mobile and I ony have unlimited phone and text.

Does anyone knows how soon to do medicals, for I read the Kingston Checklist that says schedule medicals 10 days in advance from the interview. I saw majority of VJ family had medical exams performed two weeks in advance.
