That sounds yummy. I brought two king cakes for my coworkers today: one with strawberry filling & one with pineapple (which I'd never had before). I was surprised how good the pineapple one was.

That's true. I can immediately think of 2 people who aren't big at all who have BO issues.

We got a few things from Old Navy, too. And Marshall's & JC Penny's. But mostly Target, since there's one around the corner.

I've had very few long-term relationships so I don't have many exes to worry about. And not any where we live so that's good. There are guys who he swears like me but they are just my 'buddies' & he has nothing to worry about so he'll have to deal. It's not like I even talk to any guys anymore as it is. Once in a great while I'll catch up with someone I haven't talked to in a while but the convo is always the type I'd freely be able to hold in front of him. And most of the time they are in front of him. I'm mostly friends with guys too but these days I just see them when I see them & try to introduce hubby to them.....a few he's even hit it off with & I wish we lived on the same side of the bay.

Yeah, we have plenty of Target clothing in his wardrobe too! The stuff for men is way nicer than the stuff in the 'queen's court' there....I hate Target clothes for big gals....to me most of it is so freakin ugly & unflattering.

For some reason the 'country' comment reminds me of hubby's dad's party for his GF this last weekend.....people were packing huge plates of food up even before everyone who'd be showing up to the party arrived. Geez ya vultures! At least wait until 11:00 or so to see who all is coming & wants some food!

Girl his whole family shout out!!! They a mess...and I was trying to be in the middle and work it out and I think I'm just going to let it be and in due time they will work through it...cause I don't want to expose any potential children of mine to that history of mistreatment and just issues.

Every family has issues but I know with my family there was more love and support... Den didn't get that...he didn't have a pleasant childhood at all. So I'm having to learn that there are some hurts and old wounds that may never heal. It makes me sad cause he is such a loving and caring person and he loves his family but they don't love him the same way. It's all about what can he do for them and when they're done using him...they done until the next go round. I do vibe with one of his sisters and her kids, two of his brothers is cool, and I have yet to meet his baby sister who is like 15. His dad works a lot..but the rest...I'm shaking my head! Hot Mess!!!!

I can understand that. Lehi has a very similar family situation it sounds like. His immediate family in JA was his Grandparents & they are passed now. His Mom is in St. Maarten with his sisters & she would help him as much as she can but she didn't raise him. The rest, like his aunts, uncles & all cousins but one sound just like Den's family. He wanted to call one cousin the other day that cussed him off months ago because he's holding a grudge that he didn't get Lehi's car. I wasn't about to dig around for the # only to have the guy hurt him again. He was saying he had just been thinking & remembering his past kindness but I asked him if he also remembered how bad he did him not that long ago? He agreed that it might be good to wait a few more months before seeing if his cousin would appreciate hearing from him finally.

Things are pretty good on this side. Yesterday was not my best day, so today is 10 times better. How should I start...

(Rant started)

1. Was invited to a meeting at work 3 minutes before it started and asked to gather a bunch of $#$@# (lack of preparation on your part, does not constitute an emergency on mine)

2. Had my brother to take Ivan to get his TB test read for his medical. My brother didn't have any gas money to get here...asked 5 million questions...and can't follow simple damn directions... By the time I answered all his stupid rass questions, I could have taken Ivan and been back to work.

3. Ivan called me from the Dr's office telling me that they wanted another $20 copay. I'm like for what? To read some damn test results? I've already given you a $20 copay to take the test, $100 to complete the I-693...Yall know Shenequa had to come out. All Ivan said he could hear was loud talking through the phone. I'm like so you mean to tell me that if I take an AIDS test and I pay $20 for my copay, I have to pay again for you to tell me my results. What the rass??? Needless to say, their drawer was $20 short on yesterday.

4. Ivan's skin TB test came back positive, so now we have to go today to get chest x-rays. Thank God, for my flexible spending account debit card. Otherwise, I would have to be on some clubs pole droppin' it like its hot to make some dough!! (rant ended)

I WISH we had a debit card for our flex spending account. We buy stuff & then have to submit forms & the receipts to get reimbursed. I already have a stack of receipts right here that I need to mail in.

Okay, well let me preface by stating that I'm very aware that I've got some extra junk in the trunk & everywhere else & I try not to hate on anyone. When people are mean & say things like 'fat people stink' I always say BS to myself cause I know for dyam sure I'm not stinky. I'm quite hygenic thank you very much! Anyway, there's this woman at my work who is severely obese...probably about 350 or more. For her to just walk from her desk to the bathroom it sounds like she just ran a marathon she's so winded. I feel sorry for her but am disgusted too to be honest. Once, she was sick & couldn't make it to the bathroom....sh*t herself & left a trail down our hallway all the way to the bathroom. I had to get our custodians to come clean up after her. I'm sure she was mortified but got dyam! Today I see her heading from the opposite side of the hall & I'm going to the bathroom. I'm in a stall & what seems like a full 3 minutes later, she finally comes into the bathroom (you can hear her huffing & puffing) & picks the stall RIGHT NEXT TO MINE! There are 11 stalls....perhaps you could give us a space between?? I always try to do that if it's not full....give someone a '1-stall clearance' ya know? So as I'm finishing my business, suddenly this HORRENDOUSLY pungent smell of BO wafts up from the floor & that's all I can smell! Now I believe when people say fat people stink. Not all of them obviously but when you get so big you can't properly clean yourself, it's time to get some real help!
