Really? I wanted to see that one. I have yet to see "The Blind Side" and of course, "Twilight, New Moon". I really loved the first "Twilight" movie.

Okay Yall I got a serious question of the day...

How do you decide whom to invite to your reception, when everybody and their mama and cousin and dem have expressed that they want to come?

Also our reception will be like a month after our ceremony...

 I'm picturing your outrage that someone would even think you capable of such a thing.

:lol: Me too! But I agree....$500 could go a long ways toward a trip somewhere or to the household!

JQ -- not scared at all, but you know my grandmother raised me and well, I know how you feel...my grandmother is my rock, she loved me not matter what and she always told me to never be said when she's gone home to rest because she would be in a better place. Each time she would have a stroke and come near to death she would say God a tease her and keep kicking her out of heaven...I would just laugh

:lol::crying::luv:

Girl me neither! Don't get me wrong, I am a south Georgia country girl to my heart and trust there's not too much that they waste where I'm from but I've never been able to eat a lot of it...I guess cause I saw how it was being prepared etc. Just couldn't do it but I eat a lot of other things; clearly I'm not starving or anything...

 Me neither!

How about bag peppered shrimp? I love it. Anybody else can stomach that? Big tenticles & all. Lol

I like it....but I always pick off all the stray stuff & then I'm just left with the little meat in the middle....can't eat those legs & stuff!

mi cyaan manage:

manish wata

chicken feet

fish's head..

Me neidda! Or goat balls or tripe or anything out of the ordinary. Well, I have to say, I haven't tried any of them so I suppose if I could be tricked in to trying it, I might be okay. But feet & fish heads....just can't get over the LOOK of them & mi cyaan dweet!

Morning Mamma, that is too funny you sound like me chatterbox, that's the one thing I always got in trouble for at school

Me too! I had good grades but had discipline issues because I was always talking. One old report card from grade school cracked me up....in the comments the teacher said i was "refreshingly honest"! That's one way to put it!

Ooohh, that's a tough one Dens. Ours was real small & so is our family so that helped alleviate some of that decision making. But basically I picked people who I have known years & even if we didn't talk a lot now (mostly due to living far apart), if we were best friends way back, I invited. The rest were people in my immediate circle of friends who I do stay in touch with. If it was anyone I hadn't talked to in a while, I didn't bother. You have to accept that you will not please everybody but you have to keep it within reason so you don't put yourself in the poor house over the reception costs.

If you are into Twilight, you will like New Moon. It's definately a chick flick though.....lots of werewolf eye candy. Jacob is growing up just FINE! But, men will hate it. We went the night it came out....midnight showing.....my friend is still complaining that there was way too much estrogen in the theatre.

What are your limitations? What kind of reception are we talking about?

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Cool, I need to go and see that asap!

I'm thinking no more than 100 ppl...dinner,dj, that's about it. I found a real nice venue that is really nice and I know that's where I want to have it. I have to go in for the appointment, sample the food, etc. Cause food is so important.
