Confession time:

Someone called Steven regarding the Birth Certificates. She told him that FedEx showed that the package was left on our doorstep on December 17 (we ordered it Dec 9). Steven went & checked with the apt leasing office, but they didn't have it. So then we went through this big stack of paper (where the housekeeper puts any paper she finds) and lo & behold! There it is. Neither of us remember seeing it before, but the package was even open.

So we actually did get the 6 color copies of the birth certificate only 8 days after ordering them.

Should I email the RGD office & tell them we found it? Or just drop it, since they only have responded to 1 of about 5 email messages so far.

I was thinking that, too, then I remembered one incident: I went into the silverware drawer and found, amidst the butter knives, the letter opener. I wanted to DIE laughing, but Steven was right there, so I couldn't (he's VERY sensitive). I merely asked, "Do you know what this is?" and held up the letter opener. He said yes. But later admitted that he didn't. I was reminded of the movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy."

While having to look for things doesn't bother me at all, THIS would a lot for 2 reasons 1) I strongly prefer a man to speak for himself with confidence, and 2) don't waste our money!

I judged projects in the "Plants" category. They were all boring: Will lima beans grow better if you add water, coke, or sprite? Which brand of plant food will cause them to grow better? Will they grow better outside, on a windowsill, or in a dark closet? Will they grow better if exposed to red, green, black, or white light? What liquid will most affect a rose's color?

I should've picked the physics category for more interesting ones.

LOL @ the letter opener incident! I wouldn't have been able to help myself. I still laugh when Lehi mispronounces certain words. At least he takes it well & usually laughs along with me. I don't know how many times I've tried to get him to say 'hammock' instead of 'hamup'!

Ditto on 'don't waste our money'!!

I think an erupting volcano would have been more interesting than the plants! LOL!

DOH! Well, that's great you found it! I'd drop it....they probably won't follow up anyway. Of course, if they do, maybe you'll get 6 more!

A whole bunch of foolishness. When I first got the private call I thought it was my soon to be ex so I answered it with attitude. When I heard his voice my heart almost stopped. You could tell he was nervous too. I acted as if I had no clue who it was when I did. I kept asking him who dis while he was talking. He tried to sound hurt I didn’t recognize his voice. When he finally said his name I was dry like yeah what’s up. He was like nothing. He was just calling to see how I was doing. I told him I’m good and its good to know he is alive. I asked him was he here in the states and he said no. I was like oh if you say so. He told me he couldn’t talk long he just wanted to check on me. I asked him was he going to say sorry. He told me he would say sorry when he explained everything. I told him no need to explain a sorry will do. He said he was truly sorry. I told him cool and hung up.

He called right back and told me I hung up too fast. He wanted to wish me Merry Xmas and Happy New Years. Umm its only two months later but thanks. I didn’t scream or bite his head off I didn’t ask him the zillion questions I wanted to like why??? There was no need to because honestly at the end of the day I don’t think he would have told me the truth. For once I wished I was Sus or Jawi. They always think of something slick to say but nothing would come out. He did end up explaining what happened which is some phockery to say the least. His story had so many holes in it, it looked like Swiss cheese but I didn’t throw the holes in his face why bother. I wanted him to think I didn’t care. He did ask me if I ever thought of him. I told him months ago I did. He kept talking but I knew I had to end the call I was becoming too comfortable holding the phone so I told him I needed to get back to work thanks for calling and hung up.

Even though I don’t know the truth I still feel some closure and its like I’m cool now. I know he isn’t dead. It’s the weirdest feeling but I’m cool.

the dead has arisen...you handled that well DaDa

Hi Jamerican! Thanks, I'm so ready for him to get here.

Don't let school kick your butt too much! Sounds like fun with the cadavers! Wow!
