Afternoon Yardies!

Hubby woke up like Wha deh raas yuh kick the pus inna deh odda room yuh a mad ooman :rofl: Poor African Storm was walking by and I did a drop kick and she was inthe way and she went flying :luv::blink: the funny thing is she loved it and came back for more LOL Lawd there is never a dull moment in our house :no:

:rofl::rofl::rofl: Poor kitteh!

I don't care what the Rock plays.........eye candy is good. Arch them eyebrows.....wrinkle up that forehead, flex those arms.....and OMG please SMILE.

:lol:

I've used TaxAct the past three years: the free one. I couldn't use TurboTax (free version) when I had a complicated tax situation, but now my situation isn't complicated anymore. What I'll probably do is use both & see which one delivers a better refund. But I can't imagine either of them finding "hidden" refunds since I just enter W2s and 1099s.

Same here....so far no problems. I think I also use turbo tax to compare & taxact has worked just as well for me. This year is going to be interesting though. I'm thinking of filing married but separate since there is no income or taxes to report for hubby. I'll do it both that way & married filing jointly to see the difference in the return.

A whole bunch of foolishness. When I first got the private call I thought it was my soon to be ex so I answered it with attitude. When I heard his voice my heart almost stopped. You could tell he was nervous too. I acted as if I had no clue who it was when I did. I kept asking him who dis while he was talking. He tried to sound hurt I didn’t recognize his voice. When he finally said his name I was dry like yeah what’s up. He was like nothing. He was just calling to see how I was doing. I told him I’m good and its good to know he is alive. I asked him was he here in the states and he said no. I was like oh if you say so. He told me he couldn’t talk long he just wanted to check on me. I asked him was he going to say sorry. He told me he would say sorry when he explained everything. I told him no need to explain a sorry will do. He said he was truly sorry. I told him cool and hung up.

He called right back and told me I hung up too fast. He wanted to wish me Merry Xmas and Happy New Years. Umm its only two months later but thanks. I didn’t scream or bite his head off I didn’t ask him the zillion questions I wanted to like why??? There was no need to because honestly at the end of the day I don’t think he would have told me the truth. For once I wished I was Sus or Jawi. They always think of something slick to say but nothing would come out. He did end up explaining what happened which is some phockery to say the least. His story had so many holes in it, it looked like Swiss cheese but I didn’t throw the holes in his face why bother. I wanted him to think I didn’t care. He did ask me if I ever thought of him. I told him months ago I did. He kept talking but I knew I had to end the call I was becoming too comfortable holding the phone so I told him I needed to get back to work thanks for calling and hung up.

Even though I don’t know the truth I still feel some closure and its like I’m cool now. I know he isn’t dead. It’s the weirdest feeling but I’m cool.

Wow Dada! I'm glad you handled it the way you did too. Be strong sis & don't let him weasel his way back in! He doesn't deserve you!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm............... what were they actually trying to photograph?

283515.jpg

Ummm, can I get this in higher resolution & BIGGER please?? I'm trying to see if that's just a shadow by his leg! :rofl:

If you are talking orgasims....then, no. If I have to fake it, wth am I with that person? I don't care what anyone says, there is more to life then sex; but if the sex sucks.....and I mean all the way around, well rounded, you better be ALL about me sex.......if the sex sucks, he has to go. It's important to me.

:yes::yes::thumbs:

Haaa they kitties are infectious you can't get enough! Same with D I often catch him carrying her around in his hoodie hood :lol:

Awwww, that's cute! :luv:

I did two timeshares. One we scored coupons for a free buffet at umm I forget the name but its the 30 buffet that offers all kinds of sea food and what not and we also scored 75.00 bucks in casino credit. We just told them we wanted the cash to play at the tables so they cashed it out and off we went out the door.

CLEVER! :lol::thumbs:

If it's not on regular tv, I don't watch much of anything. No cable at home.

Me either....I'm just not to the point of being willing to pay for TV yet. Don't know if I ever will be. And the last thing I need is MORE excuses to sit on my azz because I have 120 channels!

Awwwww that's sweet!

Funny story from the weekend - We took my friend's Grammy out to lunch (she's 93) - she wanted seafood and some live music, so we went to this spot that had a jazz band - During the break, the band members came over to sit with us - The 84 year old drummer asked us if Grammy was a Cougar - After we picked ourselves up off the floor from laughing, we then had to explain to her what a cougar was!

:rofl::rofl: That is too cute!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.....I know that one.

You will love this, Philly. Finesse too.......he's got his kids 3 nights in a row this week, starting last night. I'm missing him in my bed every night (except when he's working firehouse). I took and sent day 1 picture. Which was pretty tame. Told him he's in trouble day 2 and 3 and to make sure the kids don't have his phone when I'm texting. :devil: I expect Thursday will be a good night :innocent:

Yardies, here's my question of the day (mostly directed at the ladies)....

Do your guys help you out at home? Do they take the iniative themselves or do you have to ask? What do you do if they did do something but it wasn't quite right & you need to do it again?

At least it was an orange pinto station wagon...but I loved it and I took care of it, my dad paid $50 for it. The guy told him if he could start it he could have it for $50 bucks (seller) didn't know my dad was a mechanic...I kept the car from I was 16 until I was 21 and I drove it all over the place...longest trip was FL and I had no issues.

Yes. He actually takes time off work to surprise me when I get home. My situation is A LOT different then yours though. And, yeah, sometimes I have to say it a few times; but again, different situations.

If it's not right, I let it go. As long as the house isn't going to burn down or something equally as catastrophic, as long as it's done, it's done. I'll do it right the next time.

I beg to differ. I actually haven't found a shade of my favorite color, green, that I don't like.

My first car was an even deeper green 'vette. Um, Chevette it was. I bought it for $300 and sold it for $300 to my brother. There was no heat in the damn thing. Brother took out back seat and put in these monster speakers that took up whole seat area. It was hilarious to watch it thumping down the street.

I moved up to a Ford Escort :blush:

Yes he helps around the house he is a clean freak. He mostly does it on his own but if I do ask it is because I don't feel like doing it. Like I asked him to do the dishes last night after dinner. If he doesn't do it quite right I honestly don't say anything because he really did try...for example when he unloads the dishwasher he never puts things back in the right spot and I have to go hunting for things. To me I am just happy that he emptied it and I didn't have to do it. You have to pick your battles in life I am really learning this. It might be that I have kids and have learned to relax with it because if I didn't I would be in the mental institution by now.

Ok I am a neat freak... Louis... not so much.

When he 1st got here and didnt work he cooked... he cleaned ... he was AWESOME!

Well he got a job and settled in. If I ask him to do something he will do it. I hate taking the trash out and doing the dishes so he will do that.

I have to "clean clean" cause he wont get the corners....LOL

Oh he will do any of the "fix-it" things too.. I like that.

I would rather clean things myself and he knows that. He is a "will do it tomorrow" and I am "doing it right now" kind of person. ;)

Well, in St. Louis, they wear uniforms.....blue pants, uniform shirts, ball caps sometimes, sweat shirts if cold, and boots. When the audible goes off in the firehouse (alarm), they go to the truck where 2 of the guys toss off their boots and step into their fireproof boots and suspender uniform pants sitting by the truck doors, then they jump in and put on the coat. The driver and the captain usually just put on the coat. Not sure how they do it elsewhere.
