That's why I like Turbotax - They keep track of your prior returns, import the info into the current, help to maximize your deductions, etc.... very simple to use.

Nat any imput on taxes?

I used to go to H&R block, then a few years ago started Turbo Tax... Last year's return was GREAT ($4000) since I had married Louis and he didnt work.

Now with Sus saying she upgraded and it got her more $$ I may go with the $14 version. I think Turbo tax is fine.... if you dont have any complicated stuff I would do it.

Philly - no real "tight girlfriends" at school. She goes back and forth between kids.

At the moment she has 1 good little friend and she is moving to Italy in the spring!

Her "best" friend is my friend's daughter so we don't get to see every day.

If ur filing 2009 taxes, I would say hold on until Pres. Obama plan is implemented. He is doubling the child tax credit, allowing one to itemize deductions for the Haiti relief, taxing 10% for the fed school loan. I think its a great idea to help struggling middle class citizen.

I was reading this yesterday girllllll I am so waiting for the double child tax credit. I am sure I won't get any deductions for sending funds to family in Haiti But I love Obama he is all about the middle class working folks! I hope this will be implemented this year!

What was wrong with it? They keep talking about the stupid pool. My first time in Vegas and I'm going to be lounging around the pool? Have you met me????? I never sit for long. I want to see EVERYTHING...........do EVERYTHING.............

I thought it was too old fashioned for me. The lobby was nice but then when I got upstairs to my lumpy bed with a old dingy looking bed spread and a toilet the refused to stop running with warn out carpet and the oldest looking TV you ever did see I thought for sure the Rat Pack with Sammy Davis Jr. and them were going to come walking through my door.

I stayed at the Westin for a few nights. It’s a little off the strip but a very nice hotel and it was cheap. I loved it and if I go back more than likely I’ll stay there again.

I did two timeshares. One we scored coupons for a free buffet at umm I forget the name but its the 30 buffet that offers all kinds of sea food and what not and we also scored 75.00 bucks in casino credit. We just told them we wanted the cash to play at the tables so they cashed it out and off we went out the door.

I always take mine to my tax guy. I like his personal service and that fact that he knows me every year. You know? Plus, I worked with him and all it costs me is dinner when they are done.

Seriously, though, if you think you can do your own taxes, why not do them? Lots of people do. I just prefer someone who does it every year to keep up with the tax laws for me and stuff.

I can’t do H&R. to me they want to darn much….

They have a free service here that does taxes so I just continue to go to them every year.

I agree especially when she talks real soft. Who would think a voice so soft is so powerful. What cracks me up is how she takes her shoes off as soon as she gets on stage. At least Patty waited until she was into the song and then kicked them off.
