Does anyone by chance have a copy of the Packet 3 instructions in Thai that they can scan and email me so I can give my fiancee a heads-up as to what she needs to do? I am doing a lot of planning and getting all forms ready so when she gets the Packet 3 she will have her med exam and police report done, all forms filled out and ready and only needing to do the online form and get the packet sent back in right away. Although she can read the English version I can get online, I think it would help her better understand it if she can read it ahead of time in Thai, her native language.

Of, if someone knows where I can find it on the Internet in Thai that would help too.

Thanks!!!

Moved from K-1 to Embassy - more related.

Checked the embassy website and whenever I pull up the packet instructions they are only in English and not Thai at all. So maybe they have changed it. But either way, when I was in Thailand until last Sunday and today when I check it, it's all English only for all the packet instructions.

I did scroll down....9 pages all in English and it stops, PDF format on the website. What can I say? I used your link, saved it and sent it to her to read in the morning when she gets up. Thanks for that link. Maybe it has something to do with my comp??? Just don't know why I can't see any of it in Thai.

The link, yes, I can see Thai too. I meant at the embassy website when I look at the packet instructions for any of them it is only in English for the whole 9 pages.

I suggest you go to Adobe.com and download their reader 9.

Reader

What I have is 8 pages - pages numbered 1-4 with odd pages in English and even pages in Thai. (page 1 E followed by page1 Thai, etc.)

It's kind of funny if 3 different people see 3 different things with the same link,

but nothing surprises me about how computers can work counter-intuitively.

They only work the way they were designed to work, not the way the user

necessarily needs or wants.

Well, either way, I cannot find Thai instructions on the embassy site, but I sent her your stuff and she read it and said she understood better so it helped her, which is what I was trying to do. I still don't see just packet instructions like your link had on the embassy site. But not important now. Thanks for your link!!!

Typically she cannot get yher medical exam until she receives her appointment letter (packet 4). Maybe Thailand Consulate is different? Better look into this one or call and ask to clarify.

Yes it is different. She got BOTH the medical & police report BEFORE the appointment

letter, and in fact before the packet3 letter arrived at her house (Oct 31 as we

both greeted the mailman on my last day in Thailand). All we showed to the medical &

police was the original (a copy may do) of the NOA2 to certify that we had a visa

petition that was approved. I had tracked my package to the consulate via DHL tracking

and was sure that the packet3 was imminent so we just went for it. The consulate

however gave us no clue that they actually had our case until packet3 arrived, but

by then we had done both the police & medical. She returned packet3 documents to

the consulate a two weeks after I left Thailand and the packet4 letter was received

by her 2 days after that.
