the 100 questions that are on the CD and in the study guide are the only questions they are allowed to ask?

Hi flsusi,

You only need to know the answers on the CD - they are also highlighted in the study booklet. You aren't asked about the extra lessons that go with each question; they are only for personal interest. Only the highlighted portions are necessary for the interview.

The IO will also ask you to read and write one sentence in English and he'll go through the application with you.

I can understand you are getting nervous - I felt the same way as my big day came closer and closer.

But don't worry - if you are prepared well, it's a piece of cake; just a formality.

Other questions can be related to how you filled out the N-400 and even given the third degree as to whether you committed a crime where you never were arrested for. If my wife's interview was limited to just the civics and English test, she would have been done in two minutes, but another 41 minutes was spent in going over the N-400 and her trying to prove to her IO, that she was married to me. Could have just asked me that question, was there in the waiting room, waiting.

Well, I will keep studying my booklet then. and listen to the CD. I will NOT FAIL this interview!!!!

my N400 is on the 5 year and not based on marriage, so I should be save of those questions.....you'd think

Good is getting there on time without a traffic jam or other mishap, AND getting a reasonable IO, wish you good luck on those two accounts. The rest is up to you, not sense in getting nervous about it, just do it.
