Checklist for CR1 process

Ok so let me get this right?

1)Fill out and sign I-130

2)U.S birth certificate?

3) Copy of the marriage certificate

4)Fill out G-325(1 for my husband signed by him and 1 for me signed by myself...also 4 copies of each?)

5)his passport style photo in a plastic bag attached to a sheet of paper, as well as mine.And these pictures behind each each applicable G-325form.

6)Document showing a bonafide relationship....I have...EVERY plane ticket stub/itinerary for the last 4 1/2 yrs...also a few emails...more pictures than is humanly possible! As for financial ties....We don't have a bank account together yet. However, he has all the receipts for the money that he deposits in my U.S bank account on a monthly basis, as well as I can go to Western Union, and get a print out for all my transactions. Is that good enough? Should I add in affidavits from friends and family? if so how many? 2, 3? I can even get an affidavit from the pastor that we did pre-martial counseling with also...

7) money order for $355 (U.S currency right?)

Am I missing anything, is this the correct order?

Also my husband is not filing for our son because we are going to be filing his CRBA...do we need to state that anywhere?

Hi,

Looks good to me, however it's been a while since I filed the I-130, so perhaps someone else can double check that.

No need for tons of pictures, one or two would be fine. No need for affidavits, you have your financial receipts and your plane tickets, that would be enough. Save any other evidence you think you need for the interview.

Later forms will ask for children's names, no need to state it at this point - unless you want to use that as part of the proof of your relationship, you could send a copy of the full birth certificate - the one with your names stated on it.

The G325A only requires one copy now, according to their instructions.

Looks good to me. On the I130 section c #17 it asks for all relatives children/spouse. You would put your son's name there.

yes, they recently changed it, to 1 page instead of 4.

You don't need the pictures and tickets for the initial stuff. You will want to take that to the interview.

I would include the affidavits instead as it will be easier for whoever reviews your application.

Ok...that does make sense. So I will save that for the interview. It's funny how nervous I am already. I have absolutely NO reason to be, my relationship is legit/bonafide...but I guess when knowing you will have to prove that, it makes you feel weird. So I'll just add the affidavits, and I'll add the baby's birth registration that has our names on it. So no need for proof of financial co-mingling?

yes, include the childs name on section c. i remember precisely that I had included my duaghter and wife on section C with the attached birth certs and other docs.

I think both of you need to submit a birth certificate. The US petitioner could also submit a copy of their passport.
