the current bills both include a mechanism for denial of 2nd amendment right by way of medical record. this denial mechanism has already been used by the veterans admin to remove firearms from over 150,000 viet nam veterans who at one time sought treatment for PTSD. the majority of these people had long since recovered, but their property was ordered forfeit, anyway. this reach-around is in violation of the principle of judicial determination of mental incompetency. up to this point a judge had to rule you unfit in the moment. if this bill passes, you could be declared unfit on basis of an administrative review of long invalidated records.

As far as I am concerned, all the government had to do is to turn the clock back the way things were 25 years ago, health care was never an issue. Ten bucks for the average office visit and under 500 bucks to have a kid. Something changed drastically.

Would have to add another ten years to that when Wisconsin was an excellent state to live in, low taxes, excellent roads, great schools, some of the best state parks in the nation. All that has also changed for the worse, keep on asking our governor how good this state have the best roads in the country for a nickel a gallon gas tax when today at 55 cents a gallon, can't even plow the snow off the roads. Never had to help my kids with homework back then, schools did that, today they don't do anything, but they cost a small fortune. Would take all my garbage, today have to pay a fortune to get rid of an old refrigerator and wash and sort the rest of it.

Have this strange notion, we are being screwed and being screwed blue by our government. The fucken crooks.

The major problem is that in Mass when a Democrat has problems...it is real problems for the Democrats. There is no way a Democrat should have any trouble winning what was Kennedy's seat, just as there should have been no trouble in Corzine being re-elected governor in NJ. You know it and I know it. The fact that a Republicn can even be competitive is super-bad news for the Dems. She is losing more ground every day...15 points in the polls in the last week. Her Repubican attack ad, equating Brown to Bush/Cheney/Limbuagh backfired. Limbaugh had not even mentioned the race until the ad came out. Now he is telling 20 million listeners (not all in Mass of course) to vote for Brown. Absentee ballots (traditionally heavily Republican) are at record levels with some precincts reporting that half the registered voters have already cast a ballot...making the turnout already more than normal.
