just wanting to know how i would know if left NVC

i got signed in failed

for my i130 as well as JUST ONE of my sons

the other one they have lost his civil documents as well as DS230 form

being checked into by a supervisor

how do i track it once completed at NVC

that is all NVC told me it is COMPLETE

any idea how back logged montreal IS

please give any info

as to next steps

as well as anything i should be bringing to montreal

i will be having medical done same time as my interivew a couple days ahead as i am travelling from Manitoba

Usually, it will take a week before the automated operator tells you that your case left the NVC.

It could be better for you to check it thru the tracking system of DHL, here's the link and reduce the anxiety in some ways.

Follow this format and try adjust the day on which date you might think the NVC sent your package to the US Embassy in Canada after the completion of your case.

Jan. 24, 2010 - Interview!! Approved

Jan. 28, 2010 - VISA received

Mar. 03,2010 - POE, New York (JFK)

Apr. 12,2010- CA ID

May 20,2010- CA Driving License

May, 25,2010-Wife told me that she is pregnant ^_^

Jan.25,2011- Our daughter was born

Our cases were complete November 13 and we are still waiting for an interview. If you go to the Canada form there is a tracking list as well. There is one person from September and October still waiting as well.

Removal of Conditions: 12/09/2011

ROC check cashed 12/15/11

NOA1 12/13/11

Biometrics 1/6/12 Complete

RFE 9/13/12

RFE package sent back 10/17/12

Card Production Ordered 12/04/12

10 year card arrived in mail 12/10/12

Your Embassy must be very busy that is why you are waiting for too long.

Montreal has been very backlogged for quite sometime.

Montreal has been very backlogged for quite sometime.

For sure!! We waited 3 months from NVC completion to our interview date in May/09. It was a rough wait but looking at the backlogs of 4-5 months in Montreal now I feel lucky. My heart goes out to all of those in limbo waiting for Montreal to clear up their backlog. Hang in there everyone. :thumbs:

The DOS visa information line can tell you the current status of any case.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

when would be a good time to email them to find out any info

is there a hotline like nvc has

this whole waiting is really starting to bring me down

my one year anniversary is next month

just seems so unfair to live apart

any suggestions would be great
