Hello everyone,

We are ready to request an interview and I would like to know what we send with the DS-2001 and what can my fiance bring with her to the interview.

We have ready:

NOA2

Case Number from NVC

DS-156

DS-156K

DS-157

DS-230 (part 1)

I-134 + supporting documents

evidence of relationship (since I-129 was initially sent)

Birth Certificate and Passport (both of us in English)

Letter of Intent to Marry - updated 2nd one from me (petitioner)

Police certificate (fiance went and documents wil be ready to pick up 1/21)

Medical Forms (completed and forms are with fiance)

I am leaving to Thailand tonight....wootwoot!! As soon as I get there I am going to help my fiance sign/date a couple fo these forms and mail to the embassy in Bangkok. Should we include everything (except police document since it is not in hand yet)? Or should we only send DS-2001 and then have my fiance bring everything to the interview with her? Thanks for any feedback!

Rak na jup jup (yeah this is for everyone!)

Mike

(moved from K-1 to Embassy - more related)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
