time to process packet 3 and get interview date

Hi--

According to Royal Mail, the London Embassy received our Packet 3 on Dec 22, 2009. However, when I call the DOS they told me that they don't have it entered into the system yet. They do have his medical in the system (He had it Dec 21). How long does it usually take them to process the packet and assign an interview date? Our NOA2 expires on Feb 23 and I really don't want to have to get an extension!

You don't need to get an extension; it's automatic as long as you're sending them documents. The USC just needs to send a notarized letter stating that they still intend to marry the foreigner.

Naturalization

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

They received mine on the 21st and haven't logged it yet. DOS say are waiting for my response to the instruction packet...

I'm getting antsy and I know they received mine on the 31st Dec but not logged it yet. If you haven't heard, I guess I better learn some patience lol
