Should I be concerned?

Mailed in the I-751 earlier today. However on the form if the question did not apply I left it blank instead of writing NONE. For example the question about spouses A#. Spouse doesn't have an A number, so I left it blank. However, I just now read that I should have wrote NONE. Will something that minor cause a delay or other negative response? Or am I just being overly worried?

Well it can result in RFE's. I doubt if you will get a negative response but you MIGHT get an RFE. Depends how strict they wanna be.

Also, your answer to that qn is N/A for "not applicable" as your spouse is the USC I assume and therefore has no alien number. The term "none" means the question applies (i.e. he is or was an alien), but you have no information for it (i.e. in my case prior to GETTING my alien number, I don't have one given to me so that question APPLIES to me, I just don't have one yet).... if that makes sense.

Thanks for the response. That does make sense. Actually I'm the spouse, and I am a US citizen. On the form we left a few questions blank like "other names used" because she doesn't use any other names, and information about children, because we don't have any children. I only now realize that I was supposed to put either N/A or NONE.

Hopefully they won't be too strict on that point, because I think we submitted pretty solid evidence.

I mailed I-751 on the 13th of January and I left spouse A# blank too. There were two more items I left blank. Lets hope we don't get RFE's.

You probably won't, but yeah should put 'N/A' for those kinda things: if you think about it: issuing RFE for something as retarded as that just adds more work to the adjudicator as s/he will be the one having to request RFE and then process the response. (That's assuming they can easily check whether citizen is naturalized or born)
