People do post denials from time to time, mostly to get some advice. But normally those take a little bit longer to post. After getting over the inital shock and discussion with their fiance/lawyer.

I'm thinking that maybe the folks at CSC are rushing so fast to get through their backlog that they are overlooking some borderline cases just to get ahead. Just a theory.

Your probably spot on, I would think the last thing the CSC wants at this point is to have to handle more RFE's. They are probably just letting the questionable ones go

well perhaps I am wrong but I don't think they have a serious time issue (back log)because they are allotted 6months for the entire k-visa process...........so they can keep applications 3 or 4 months before they can approve. But , I would appreciate it they hurry up with mine.

They sure do have a backlog. 3 months puts us at late April NOA1 dates, and 4 months puts us at late March NOA1 dates. There are a ton of people from March who haven't gotten approved yet with very straightforward cases. It seem to me a backlog occurs when they are stuck at the very back of the "acceptable" amount of time alloted. IMHO.

Not to mention the fact that it's taking upwards of 30 days to even GET an NOA1 now. So if they can't even look at the application and cash the check, it's gotta be backing up. You know the government and their money!

Yeah..exactly. They actually already have people waiting 6 months due to recalls...and almost EVERY March petition, is pushing or past 4 months (mine included :( ) just for the NOA2. So this is a very VERY serious issue for them.

Before I mailed the petition on july 17th , I have prepared myself not to receive the NOA2 prior to Oct. 17th
