On babycenter.com there is a height predictor based on the current age of your toddler to their height, and the height of the mom and dad. When I plugged everything in it estimated Zaids height at 18 to be 6'2!!! Guess I have to wait 16 more years to find out but based on the fact that Zaid is Sofyans mini-me and all hubbys brothers and sisters are EXTREMELY tall Im willing to bet it will probably be pretty close. Sof has sister that is 5'11 and a few brothers over 6ft. Sof is just shy at 5'11 and I am 5'2 so its hard to say

I think the rule of thumb is to double the height at 24 months, but I'm sure the calculator at Baby Center is more advanced than that...I'll check it out. I'm 5'8" and Wadi is 6'4", so I would be surprised if Adam wasn't quite tall.

Okay...So I bought "BIG boy/girl beds and sets of furniture" for the twins and then changed my mind! So I had to run around yesterday returning everything and then ordered the stuff online and some store runs (toys r us and local furniture place).

Nour and Zain are now the proud owners of "half their room" of TinkerBell and Cars theme, bed, bedding set, lamps, clock, couch/chair and ottoman sets...I think I went a bit nutzy. My hubby was looking like this all day while I dragged them in and out of shops!

I can't wait to have it all set up and take pics for you guys!!!

I did buy Zain a Buzz toy tho (he does love Toy Story too) and he can't put him down. It's a plastic figure w/ movable parts that talks or makes some noise and he slept w/ him clenched in his little hands all night.

How are the twins doing in their new room? Have you gotten it set up yet? I can't wait to see pictures!!

Sayed is still sleeping in a pack and play next to my bed. We don't have any plans for a nursery or room and I think he will probably remain next to me or in bed with me until he's a year old. Jihed says yeh right he'll be 10 before we ever get him out of our bed

Annie. Same here. my current huntdown is a Toy Story lamp to complete his room. They are very hard to find though. Zaid is Woody and Buzz obsessed (thanks to Uncle Hazems wonderful DVD's) and I find myself picking up anything from the store that is Toy Story themed! lol

Were going to Party City as soon as Zaid wakes up to start picking things up for his 2nd birthday (HEY its only 9 weeks away) lol Well were pretty much just going to look around. We will be having a "Buzz and Woody Backyard BBQ" Im excited. This party will be sooo much more fun for him than his 1st bc he can actually run around and play with his friends and stuff.

and I'm not even gonna say how long Amirah slept in our room - either in the pack n play or sometimes with us. well beyond the first birthday but hey, it works for our family ....

Wow! Out of commission for a few months and all the kids are grown up and have jobs! They are so precious!

Zaid slept in our room in a pack n play until he was 1. We never let him in bed with us tho.. I wasnt ready to leave him "all alone" in his own room, so it worked for us. He transitioned to his room at 1 yr just fine and on the first night. Occasionally when he is sick I will keep him in bed with us but that is very rare. (and i do it bc it makes me feel better not him lol)

I probably wouldve kept zaid in my room alot longer but he started saying "aeeb" (shame in arabic) every time I changed my clothes lol

NOOO! Are you sure? Check again. I had closed my page for a day as I was spammed and removed some old crapola off my page. But I'm back.

As for Kelz...she's deleted her page till she's on break from school (we were too much on her on fb...all our posts and games kept her from being a good student! Bwahaha!)
