Out on the net looking at http://www.upgradetravelbetter.com... they have an article "Disaggregating fare aggregators 2009: Which airfare comparison sites are the best?"

Their analysis...

So which aggregator came out on top in 2009? Here’s the summary, with site-by-site reviews thereafter…

Overall best bet: TripAdvisor Flights. Low fares, good features, a solid performer overall. It took them a while to join the game, but it’s a strong product with a small but important edge over its closest competitor, Kayak.

Tried TripAdvisor.com for a Wednesday in February... Returned a flight for $715... MNL-OMA.

Just another one to check out.

I sent Claudeth the money and she was able to get the ticket cheaper there, about $150 cheaper. she just went to an agent in one of the malls in Cagayan and then flew out of Cebu with a layover in Hong Kong.

Guys, the virus on http://www.santraphael.com/home.php nearly destroyed my computer. I opened the page up last night, my computer totally locked up and some ridiculous anti-virus spyware blocked me from doing anything and made my operating system fail. Luckily I have a restoration software on my computer to restore it back to the way it was. I'm fortunate to not have lost all my files because of it. What gives?

Good save!

I got a batch of ####### on my system when using the web site for the Bayview hotel last year. Included a bunch of virus's and malware as well as a DNS hijacker. Had to pull the hard drive and scan on another system, disable my dual core processer and download a bunch of cleaners to finally get it all cleared up.

Took me 5 days...

FireKing, This is my experience EXACTLY! My Girl got the best deal by buying the ticket locally, and saved about the same amount, $150 USD. It is Darn poor advice to say an online broker can save more. PLUS, there is more scrutiny on travelers who have their ticket purchased out of country. Just thank the UNDERWEAR bomber for that one!
