We are going to try the ovulation kits for the next cycle, I don't want to be having kids and grand kids close in age. And with the oldest boy turning 21 this year that can happen.

Any recommendation on what brand is better and such.

I Orginally used first response kit when we got pregnant with Levi it was easy to read but you do have to compare lines. This time around we used clear blue digital, it was worth it as again first month using kits and I got pregnant plus it was easy to read ... A circle is negative and a smile face is go time. Digital was a tad more expensive than the other kits.

I was really planning on it taking time. The doctor prepared me for 6 months to a year. Imagine my surprise when I got pregnant 2 months after stopping birth control! I ignored the signs at first, because I didn't think it would happen that fast. It was my husband who was constantly saying , "that's an early sign of pregnancy!"

My mom had me at 22 and I'll be 25, so I'm making my poor mom a grandma at 47. She's excited about it though! She says she'll be the young, hip grandparent. Every now and then someone will make a comment about me being "so young" but honestly, I don't feel young!

I think 25 is an excellent age. You are mature enough and know what you want and you are pretty stable, but you are also young enough to have plenty of energy for a little one!! 47 isn't bad for a grandmother...my SIL was a gma at 36!

My mom had 3 kids before she was 25...

then another 3 between 38 and 42..

That is just about what I'm doing 4 kids by the time I was 24, and so far 1 just before I turned 38, and hopefully another on the way soon.

I did have lots of energy in my twenties don't think I would have 4 at my age now 2 little ones would be nice plus I like even numbers.

Geez - don;t say that I had my daughter at 22 and she's 20 right now - I guess I could handle her having a baby at 25 as long as she's in a solid relationship. I will love bein 'Nana' whenever the time comes.

My Mom is a Nana too :)

I keep thinking that I'm too young for a baby and then I realize that I'm almost 30!! Haha. Geez time really flies...
