Baby Allyson was born last Saturday September 22nd weighing 7lbs 8oz. Thankfully the doctors were way off on her size and I was able to deliver her naturally. She's a doll, I'll post a picture soon!

All three of us are coughing and mucus-y.

I have to cross my legs when I cough otherwise I pee a little. :lol:

I hear that's what happens as you have subsequent kids. So all you first time moms should be safe. Hehe.

Lol..I'm coughing and mucus-y too...(though I'm not pregnant....just stuck with the flu...I have it, my husband has it, but strangely enough...my son is not sick...I swear, all the breastmilk does help...lol...)

Lol about the peeing thing too....Understable, that the bladder is prone to some damage, with all those babies kicking on it...lol....

So glad to see this thread again. I admit, I have thought about it, but usually when I get on the computer in the evening, I have a monkey climbing all over me and it is difficult to search for things.

Can I be the Breast-feeding Champion? And by that I don't mean the person who did it longest (haha). I mean the supporter of it. I did it for a year (6 months full-time) with my daughter and then part-time until she weaned herself at about a year. She also started to bite so it was time for both of us...lol.

I learned a few things along the way and I know it can be really discouraging reading all the info out there. Some people feel pretty weird about it, some people are grossed out about it, but I'll be supportive if anyone needs it and help you geta round it.....I wish I could encourage everyone to do it...it's so healthy for your child and I'd love to get rid of the negativity surrounding it in the media.

Funny episode at my ultrasound yesterday. The technician was trying to peek at the baby's heart but she just wasn't cooperating, was curled up hiding it. Then the technician shook my belly with wand and yelled "EARTHQUAKE! EARTHQUAKE! Aaahhhh!" I :lol: , which I'm sure added to the Richter scale. On the screen, the baby looked startled, opened up and started kicking (I sure felt that one). Voila--heart can be seen and technician was very happy.

I breast-fed for longer than a year and let both of mine wean themselves. But it can be difficult to get going; doesn't always work out like those peaceful pictures you see of mother and baby. But with good support and determination it is well worth the effort and it is a great health benefit. Plus it's less expensive than formula!

Lol..I guess I was right in my predictions after all! (though to be honest with you, it was just a guess...)

As for BFing...I've been doing it since my son was born (for the past 8 months....)

And will continue with it for as long as I can...:)

So I'm sure I can be of help here...lol.....;)

Heck, I even BFed at the USCIS office....in front of an IO.....So be it....But whatever...The baby has to eat!

I usually BF while I type too..(lol.hence the typos..)....:lol:

But yeah...BFing is the way to go!!! :thumbs:

Your first BFing lesson: 1) Get a Boppy and/or other type of nursing pillow!
