Marilyn if that is how you want to do things then don't call anyone till after the baby is born. You can also tell your nurses that absolutely no one is to be allowed in your room till you give the ok. They are great at keeping ppl out, if are writing up a birth plan you can include that in it.

yeah that's probably what we are going to do. I know my SIL might be hurt a little but oh well.

I do love her and she has been awesome but it almost seems like she thinks this is her pregnancy and it should go how she wants it too :P Even at my baby shower she kind of made it seem like it was for her.. :P

VeeNDee, sorry to hear of your insurance struggles. Hope you can get that bronchitis cleared up.

Marilyn, I am so with you on not telling anyone I am in labor because I don't want an entourage at the hospital. During labor and delivery, I want my DH and my doula. After delivery, for a couple hours, I want it to be just DH and me so we can enjoy your little ones before we tell the world. Then at a decent time of day, I will take visitors for me and the babies. Hope you can keep your labor and delivery on the down low so you get the privacy you need.

AFM, threw up this morning for no apparen reason. I haven't had that happen in awhile since I started taking the Zantac for heartburn. Off to another great day!

so it looks like my stitch is coming out next week. The doctor I had today changed my Monday appointment to the doctor who put in the cerclage because she said it needs to come out as soon as possible. I think it will be Thursday but who knows he might decide to take it out Monday. Which is fine with me because my husband will be with me at the appointment.

Don't worry about your weight Marilyn the doctors would definitely tell you if they were concerned. You said you had a little meat on your bones to start with so baby would of taken what she needs from there too.

I've been feeling this little one move from time to time and just last night was a bit more noticeable. I can't wait till the movements get real noticeable, at 13w I only notice if I'm really relaxed.

yeah, I was a little chunky to begin with. The one time I asked about it the doctor said it was ok and said that I should gain about 15 pounds or so..

The nurse mentioned something on Friday about my weight going up and down that is why I was a little concerned but like I said my doctor never said anything..

Some people go into labour a few hours after it is removed and some people go a few weeks. We will see what happens.. smile.png

Yay for almost being at the finish line!! I'm so happy for you :) I wouldn't worry about the weight. It all depends on what you were before pregnancy. According to the "other" doctor, i should have only gained like 15-20 lbs...but i have gained 35 so far, and i still have 7 weeks to go. AS long as you are getting the nutrition you need and your healthy it should be fine.

14 weeks today, the nausea can stop any time now.

I hope it ends for you soon! I had it til about the 5th month almost. it stopped being all day and was just mornings for the last few weeks. Now i only feel sick if i over slept and am over hungry.

To think, i was so worried since at 26 weeks i hadn't felt anything, and now, its like i have a drum band in my tummy LOL. Shes a strong one too. Knocking my book of my belly or her dad's hand. I think i even felt her have the hiccups for the first time now that was an odd feeling. And i'm getting used to seeing bulges in my tummy every time she kicks or punches me lol.

Luckily no one is allowed on the labour floor at the hospital except people i allow. its super high security, and i'm thankful for that, since no way i want my MIL there...or my FIL...ugh i can just imagine what would happen. The waiting room is on the first floor, and i'll be on the 6th, then the 5th for after delivery. they also have Nap time for a few hours in the afternoon where no one but me and hubby are in the room. In fact, our childbirth instructor recommended that we don't have any visitors etc. for the first 2 weeks as it takes that long to figure a few things out and get accustomed to our new schedule etc. She said it will screw up my focus and i will be busy trying to entertain rather than bonding with our new daughter. I have to admit, it sure makes sense to me. Those are the most important weeks i think as well.
