just want to share vjers that i got my ead card february 13,2006. approval date was

february 10th, but looking at the card it said validity date starting 2/03/2006. so for those

estimating a timeframe of when they're getting their biometrics or approval of ead

i hope posting this would help. believe me i did a lot of counting others' timeline till

i just got tired of it and decided to just sit down and wait. my estimate was between

60 to 80 days from the time packet was received from chicago. there are of course some

who goes beyond.

good piece of advice- don't stress yourself too much. be patient. having to take CE courses,

reviewing for the boards , and thank God for computer games, kept me from becoming a

looney.

here's my timeline:

11/26/05 I 130,131,485,765 sent

11/29/05 received by chicago

12/06/05 NOAs for all

12/10/05 received NOAs in mail

12/20/05 received notice for biometrics for ead/aos

1/06/06 biometrics done

1/26/06 repeat fingerprinting

2/10/06 approval notice for ead( email)

also received approved AP in mail

2/13/06 received card

and then the famous line..... the waiting goes on

K-1/K-2 VISA'S APPROVED IN MONTREAL MAY 2, 2005

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

Feb 28 - Sent off Checklist & DS-230-1 to U.S Embassy (KL)

Mar 01 - Received Police Certificate

Mar 10 - Received packet 4

Mar 17 - Medical Exams

April 07 - INTERVIEW DATE ~APPROVED!~

April 08 - CR1 VISA IN HAND!

April 29 - Husband arrives in Malaysia

May 04 - Flew home together!

May 24 - Green Card arrived in mail box

May 27 - Re-applied SSN

June 06 - SS card arrived in mail box

~REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS~

02/06/07 - I-751 Mailed to TSC

02/08/07 - TSC received my case

02/12/07 - Checks Cashed

02/14/07 - Receipt for Biometrics Fee Received

03/01/07 - I-797 NOA Received, Green Card Extended 12 Months

03/02/07 - Biometrics appointment received (for 03/13 at 2:00 PM)

03/13/07 - Biometrics taken in Dallas

03/15/07 - Touched

12/04/07 - Case Approved - Card production ordered

12/07/07 - Approval notice sent

12/10/07 - 10 year card received in the mail
