Ahh GH, your hypocritical nature reveals it's self once again.

If I recall correct, it was YOU who claimed someone who forwarded a insensitive email joke should be rightly fired!

Didn't matter that that it was sent on his time and on his computer... you claimed it was inexcusable!

But when people in real power.... who say heartfelt opinions which can have no other context than Racist, you give em a pass.

You are a Left-wing shrill my friend, sorry but it's true.

Honesty is inversely proportional to political correctness.

It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Tell you what - lets see what happens to Mike Parry, a Republican senatorial candidate from Minnesota for referring to Barack Obama as a "Power Hungry Arrogant Black Man" ;)

That he is.

He is a black man.

He's pretty arrogant, thinking he knows how to run banks, car companies, insurance companies

better than the people who used to run them. Thinking he can manage your retirement account

better than you can. Use your tax dollars better than you can.

As for power hungry, just look at his rise to power... from a little-known state legislator who got

his lunch handed to him when he ran for a congressional seat in 2000, to a US Senator in four

short years, and a presidential contender in eight?

Said part of Bill's statement, it's the truth. When we elect a new congressman or senator, we expect them to represent us. But the way the senate and house of representatives are today, with their I am here longer than you so I am king, their committees, etc., when a new guy shows up, that is exactly what he does, gets coffee for the self made kings.

Congress is the only one that can vote in term limits, yeah, sure.

STOP

With all the statistics and arguing about a double standard going on here, how come no one is pointing out that the comment may have simply been about obama's relative lack of experience (ie, interns get coffee for people). Now I'll admit I don't follow news of any kind too closely (unless it's funny that is) so maybe Bill Clinton is in the habit of making racist remarks about black people, but I kind of think more likely most of the regular off topic people are too invested in bashing people of the opposing political party that they are overlooking simple reasoning.

Bill Clinton may have a brilliant mind and was a good President, but he has a real jacka$ side to him. He made similar comments in public during Hillary's campaign that IMO, led to her defeat in the Primaries.

my hat is off to bill... thank you bill, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Life..... Nobody gets out alive.

So interns fetched coffee a few years ago but not now?

Good point...still a stupidly arrogant thing to say, and given that Clinton is well aware of Obama's ethnicity, insensitive to say the least.

I see your point. It's not polite to point out that Obama is a light-skinned black guy who doesn't speak with a Negro dialect but the rest is debatable as most people in DC fit that description.

I wouldn't compare a candidate to the Senate Majority Leader. Anyone can be a candidate and the system is supposed to weed out the idiots who don't know have to manipulate the media or raise enough cash to run a winning campaign.

The point Gary was making was that the Republican party actively weeds out people who make racial comments. By that rationale - Mike Parry will not be allowed to run for Senatorial office.

Do you think that this will happen?

I think that the furore over Reid's comments is exaggerated and entirely politically motivated. Its blatantly obvious, in fact. To me at least.
