Hello VJ Members!! does any of you knows a cheap airline ticket site?I've tried alot of sites and their pirce are so outrageous!! Me,my husband and our 2 kids are planning to have a vacation hopefully this march to the PI but we're still trying to look for a cheap airline ticket...Can you tell me a cheap one?

I saw on evaair.com tickets round trip from Seattle to Manila for as low as $546 plus taxes..

wow, that would be nice...have you tried looking at bookingbuddy.com? that is the search I am using now...i am looking at 1400 total, but im flying from fairbanks alaska :(

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Historically , tickets to Philippines are the cheapest about sept thru christmas time, that is when the airlines have the sale. They were their cheapest (about 700.00 usd round trip from NY on korean or asiana) about 2 weeks before christmas. I waited too long and had to pay $900 usd for the round trip on asiana still not bad, though. That is when you buy the tickets for summer travel to philippines, before christmas time...good luck

Try EVA.com but the best prices are for members of their frequent flyers club. Enroll for free and check HOT E-FARES. Only thing is they don't go direct to Philippines. You must connect in Taiwan which adds 3-4 hours to the flight.

Try a local agent, some times they can work better magic than anything on the Net.

I totally agree with this strategy, and we are doing the same. Plus, by Pinay buying the ticket locally, it just eliminates the "X-Factor" of any questions at the airport regarding her ticket being bought by someone else outside of the country. Ever since Christmas and the underwear bomber tried to blow up his briefs, there is much increased scrutiny and searches going on. I dont want my girl being held up by some petty bureaucrat who is trying to save the world by investigating her valid credentials and plane tickets. Good Luck to us all!

But would you or your girl mind if she goes through a full body scan and some petty bureaucrat will see what's under her undies? :whistle:

Very funny, but that is like saying, "Do you want your girl going to the OB/GYN to see her hoo-haa? At some point if you are looking at those things all day, it just becomes a drag. Imagine the wife of the airport screener or OB/GYN....He comes home from a long day of looking at you-know-whats, and she lifts her skirt and says, "Come here, honey, I have a surprise to show you." :whistle:
