I-864 Questions

Hey everyone

I hope you're all doing good despite this long immigration process!

I'm filling in form I-864 as the petitioner, and question 25 in part 6 is giving me a hard time! The question is:

Federal income tax return information. Check the box:

I have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year.

The first part of question 25 is half true, since I worked for 8 months in 2007 and I filed a federal tax return for that period.

The question is, should I check the box and attach a photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for that period as it is my most recent and in fact my only tax year? (Bear in mind my income at that time was negligble as it was part-time work and none of it remains to be a source of financial support!)

I have been unemployed since then and put in $0.00 as my current individual annual income in question 23.

My father is co-sponsoring and his income is sufficient.
