Great story from LA

We stopped over in LA for a few days to spend time with a friend of mine living in Malibu. My wife and I went to the local supermarket and saw the funniest thing ever. A lady carrying a Louis Vuitton bag decided to return those 10 cent 2 minute noddles, because she "did not like the flavor". No kidding.. Some people seriously no longer have any self dignity. Had this individual been dirt poor, I could have understood.

It looked 100% legit. What kills me is that she had no shame. I'd rather die than return stuff like that.

Lots of people have no self-respect at all.

There is nothing worse than whining about an item that rings up for 10 cents more than you thought the sign said... I see it all the time at the grocery store. It's nauseating.

I don't understand what has triggered (encouraged) this attitude here. I have never seen what you mention or what I saw anywhere else in my life. And I did cashier work at 15.

I remember seeing a lady a while back pull the same thing, only to see her jump into a new 7 series. I just looked at her and shook my head. She saw me but being that this is the states, she probably couldn't care less. Definitely a huge cultural difference here, as these guys are not someone on the street; who you could understand them behaving like that.

No self dignity and being a tight-azz is the worst trait someone can have.

I couldn't agree more.

I wish they would throw out customers who use too many coupons and hold the lines up. If you can't afford it, go to the fuсking dollar store!!
