The movie looked like one long tear jerker, so I never went. But ya can't deny that woman was an Indian Hottie. Worth going thru all the AP/AR/ muslim conversion to get a visa for a wife like that. Many men likely were motivated to go to India in search for a wife because of this movie. Plus, don't those ladies know all those sex secrets and stuff like that....

I'm sorry, I just don't care.

Who ever invented the cubicle? I always insisted on an office, with a window, and a window with a view, a door with a lock and a key. A cubicle is a good place for a mouse. Happy you got your mouse back.

My wife retired from a high & respectable position in the Thai ministry of education.

They are always looking for freebies from their staff and she was no exception.

She gets X number of months' severance pay but they are expected to give

"service givebacks" in order to get the big lump sum (which she did as expected).

I told her if we go back to Thailand she should work for them as a consultant and

milk them for every baht she can. Consultants are wonderful (if you are one) because

they don't have to adhere to the constraints of regular staff but are treated like gods.

I hope you kicked their butts real good. I don't like consultants much either

(unless my wife is one and we are getting the benefit of a consultant's pay).

I ran into the guy when I went to get lunch. I asked him his name, he didn't want to say

Are you into techno?

Believe it or not, I got into Dance/Trance/Electronic music last year by listening on XM Radio, Area, Ch80. SOme of the music is very soothing and haunting. I can now take my young bride and dance the night away at a rave bubble club. No need to drop any xtc or special K though. JW Black will do it for me. PS, the techno viking is the only guy that can kick chuck norris' butt.

Not a fun way to start the work day I'm sure!! How awkward to have to insist on getting your own power cord back. Glad you won that one.
