I meet the 100% Poverty Guidelines, but just to be on the safe side I have asked my brother to be my co-sponsor. He filled out the I-134 and I have this 3 years tax transcripts. Do I also need an Employment Letter from my brothers job? Or will mine do? Please help as I am in the process of sending out my paperwork to my fiance. Its so frustrating as Riyadh Consulate has packet 3 for my fiance but since they had a bad address have unable to send him the Packet. We have constantly tried reching them by phone but no response. My fiance sent them a paid airway bill from Fed Ex so hey can send him the packet at the address he provided an he is taking care of the shipment bill bu tnothing yet. anyone experience problems like that? Our packet has been at the consulate for 3 and a haf weeks now. :-( ...

The I-134 specifically asks for a letter from an employer, as appropriate, to show the evidence of income/resources, so your co-sponsor should include one. (remember - everything is sent in duplicate)

Good thing you have a co-sponsor, some embassies require 125% of the poverty level, not 100%. (unless, of course, your military).

Try email with the embassy to correct the address - they respond faster that way.

Keep trying till you get it resolved, because the K-1 petition/application for visa has a time limit once it gets to the embassy.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
