D-Day is (almost) here at last. We feel confident everything we'll be alright and I'll be joining my bride before the month is out, but last-minute jitters just won't quit :P

Keep us in your thoughts, guys, hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with good news

Relax and don't panic!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I am with you, brother. My lovely wife and my stepson have their interviews tomorrow in Lima. If you think the last-minute jitters are bad now, just think what it will be like this time tomorrow as we wait for a phone call :)

Thanks, everyone :) I really appreciate the good wishes :) Luckily my hotel has wifi, so I can be in touch with Ashley back in the US, and hang out with my VJ comrades.

Mark, you're all too right :D Ashley was already uneasy about me being in Caracas (its reputation as the murder capital of Latin America is not undeserved), no matter how much I tried to assure her I would be in a relatively safe part of town, and will basically never even set foot on the streets. Airport-hotel-embassy-airport, that's my itinerary :P A friend is driving me to the embassy, and will hold on to my cell phone till it's over. So I should be able to give her news almost as soon as I get them. Still, we're both nervous wrecks today :P
