For those who remember my previous question regarding getting married on B2, YES, we did it. IT is legal and doesn't violate any visa rules as long as status adjustment is made outside US. My wife returned to Canada and we are filling docs for CR-1. Does anybody knows if there's any appointed doctor in Edmonton to do medical exam ? Recent experience ? Did anyone had skin test? I know it takes few days to develop, how did you get results ? Will appreciate any info. Thank you !!!!

Unfortunately medicals in Canada are only done in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.

The TB skin test is not required, they will do a chest x-ray to clear that. This link will give you more info. Good Luck.

I had a skin test done right before my medical (for a different reason) and the results from the health department in Toronto. They didn't care about the skin test since TB is tested through an x-ray like OBX said.

Look at the links OBX provided for assistance with the medical

Good luck.

I don't think anyone has said it is illegal to get married on a B2 visa. I am not ruling some ignorant person saying so, but I haven't read it. It is, as you found out, perfectly legal to come to the US for the purpose if getting married, get married and file for an appropriate visa (CR-1 for example) as you did. Your then spouse can stay in the US as long as their visitor visa and I-94 allow and then must leave the country to complete adjusting status. In order for her to adjust status/ have an interview in Canada, she will need to be a legal resident of Canada. Otherwise she will have to go to her home country. She will also need documents from her home country, such as a police certificate, birth certificate, any former marriage and/or divorce certificates. She will also need a police certificate from Canada. She will also need her vaccination record from Ukraine to be transcribed by the medical examiner OR repeat all needed vaccinations.

Good luck
