Just got home from the USE Manila with my husband. We personally inquire about filing DCF/1-130. On window 35 a lil old nice guy told us that my USC husband's ACR card should be on permanent residency.

I told him my husband is here for 1 yr and 3 months but applied ACR/legal residency after 6 months we got married so it shows on the ACR that my husband is here for only a couple of months and he said thats ok and accepted as long as we can show joint ownership like lease contract or joint bank account that will show he was here for the whole last year... We have a joint bank account that was recently opened october 2009 after my husband got his ACR card bcoz bank wont allow USC to open a bank account without ACR. We have a lease contract but it was not notarized by the landlord bcoz he happened to be my uncle so we did not formalized it, so what we did is he wrote a sworn affidavit as landlord testifying that we live in his apartment together as a supporting doc to the un-notarized house lease contract. Can we also show every pages of his passport that has a stamped of extension visa? Some help us and give ideas about this?

His passport stamps showing when he entered the PI should be a big help, especially if he never exited the PI.

Thanks for the respond sjr09! Yeah he never exited the PI since we got married we were together for 1 yr and 3 months up to this present time. Are we going to xerox each page of his US passport even the pages without stamp for them to see the whole pages that never really exited or only those pages with stamps during his extensions visa since he came here? How about our un-notarized house lease contract with supporting sworn affidavit of the landlord,is it still a good idea to show it to them?

Ok so your house lease contract was not also notarized like ours and so you guys supported it also with a sworn affidavit of the landlord. I hope they will accept our docs..so when you guys will file it? I will have to get my NBI this week and get my MC ,BC red ribboned all together and request a bank certificate.I requested another set of my BC and our MC to serve as our original copy bcoz we produce 2 sets of copies...and ready to go!

We only have 2 copies of MC and BC and some supporting docs with the 1-130 and G32A. One set all original as our file copy and the other set is for the USE Manila. Do we need 4 sets?

As from a friend's advise that was just got approved DCF she said Red ribbon is authentication. here can get it in DFA Manila 100 pesos per docs. But according to the other one couples their MC and BC do not have red ribbon. The window 35 check and compare to the original that you have when personally go there and they stamped it as authenticated. We just want to get it red ribboned to make sure but i think without is also fine bcoz Bill's wife got approved without it. He is a permanent resident here for almost 2 yrs. Do we really need to submit NBI, why it was not listed on the list of rqmts they gave us yesterday. I a lil confused about that.....

Hey tommy and rizza, to add more, we will also get a barangay clearance and a residence certificate in our area to show we live in one address and we will include the christmas card we got this christmas from relative abroad...
