Basically, if the CS cannot advise treatment or your type of infection, they cannot fill out the 693.

Without the 693, your AOS will be denied.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Q. What is my skin test is positive and my chest x-ray is normal?

A. If you are diagnosed with Class B, Latent TB infection, the civil surgeon may recommend you go to the health department for further assessment and preventative treatment. However, it is only recommended (not required) that you get assessed by the local health department. The civil surgeon can immediately sign Form I-693 and give it to you in a sealed envelope provided that all other examinations are up-to-date, and you can be medically cleared for immigration purposes prior to the referral to the health department TB control program.

If your chest x-ray is Clean free of infection you do not have active TB but Latent TB non-contagious at this point

As long as the CS signed your I-693 and sealed it in an envelope, you are fine with USCIS. I had positive skin test result too but it is latent or inactive TB so the CS signed my from I-693 and my application is on smooth sailing. I had my biometrics taken last week.

Hello Everyone,

My finace has his interview Feb 7th, 2010 and he just finished his medical exam. There are 3 vaccines that he still needs to get additional doses for. Will this pose and issue for his interview. He cannot not take the additional vaccines until Feb 9th.

The vaccine results are as follows: Vaccine History Incomplete: Applicant May be eligble for Blanket waiver because vaccination(s) not medically appropriate.

Should I be worried, or is this ok?

Thank you,

Cherrine

assuming you need this for AOS filing, whatever shots he doesn't get from his homeland, he may need to get them if the visa gets approved, here in the states. my husband had the same thing checked off and we found he didn't need any shots. it only cost us 35.00 to have them transcribe it on to the DS-3025
