Hi VJ Family well my time is approaching. my husbands interview is tomorrow morning at 7:30am. Weve prayed and left it in Gods Hands.

Im knowing that all is in divine order. Of course at the last minute i realized some things i should have done differently.

I sent NVC 2008, 2007, 2006 1040 tax returns, 1099's and w2s as my proof of income and support. this was accepted with no problems. I did NOT send in IRS TRANSCRIPTS for these years. I also sent my husband the same documents to take on his interview tomorrow. Does anyone know if this will cause a problem during the interview. If he only has my tax forms and NO TRANSCRIPTS FROM IRS. This is causing me last minute stress. Ive read where some of you sent in TRANSCRIPTS with your tax returns. should i worry at this point. Please pray for our successful interview tomorrow at the GHANA EMBASSY!!!!!. Van.

No I wouldn't worry. Tax transcripts are INSTEAD OF the tax returns 1099's and w2's so if you included all that information then the IRS transcript will just be repeating that information.

Hello My Sister,

I pray that the interview is successful in the morning. Needing or not needing tax transcripts vary. It depends on the consular and the side of the bed that he or she woke up on. Like many others have said, the information is redundant on the W-2s, tax returns and the tax transcripts although some VJers have suggested in the past that the tax transcripts are more official. Nonetheless, I have not sent my fiance tax transcripts yet either. Therefore, I would love to see if your fiance gets by without them. In the meantime, please try to get some sleep somehow. I know another couple going through the process who has an interview in Ghana tomorrow too. I pray that she calls me at 3 a.m. USA time with some fantastic news. I pray that you are awaken with fantastic news too. Every couple that successfully makes it through the embassy in Ghana gives us all hope. May God bless you both!

Akua, Faithfully Waiting on the Lord

Please let me know how it went. I just returned from Ghana. My husband was refused 12/15/09. I went there thinking it would change their mind. The man at the embassy advised me our marriage is fake. They told me to go home. While I sat there waiting I must of watched at least fifty visitor visa refusals as well. I have a lawyer now and will be waiting for it to be returned to the USCIS to appeal.
