I had my interview in Boston field office today ( May 13th, 2010). It went really quick and everything went smooth. First the lady asked me the questions for the civic test. Then the officer in other room questioned me regarding my application.

YAYA..........................waiting for the oath letter??

How much time do I have to wait..............for the oath letter????

Guys any one who had interviews in boston recently.............what are your dates for oath ????

Congratulations! From what I hear, Boston is a very busy ASC. Some people get the oath letter within a week or two and others take a month or more. However, there was another member who posted that their oath is sometime in June.... you can look for that member, or if I run across his/her name I will point you to him/her...

The strange thing is that I had my interview in April and I was given the oath letter right away.

As far as I know, people went for interview before me got their interview letter immediately as well.

I was wondering whether changes have been imposed after the New York Time Square Bombing incident since he was a naturalized citizen based on marriage to USC.

Yes looks like it..bcoz ppl who had interview with me on the same day also didnt get the oath letter. Hope it comes soon........A friend of mine who did her oath last year said...they sometimes hold the letter bcoz they are arranging a new oath ceremonies and they usually do that in summer. So might be the reason for not giving the oath letter on the same day.

Hmmm.........cant wait to see my hubby.....

This morning I had info pass to visit Jacksonville Florida USCIS office I when there12.50pm. My visiting time was 1.05pm. Well I wait for IO call me when I went to window. I told her the date of interview and it’s been two months since then I am still waiting for interview. She looks at the computer and told me that my case has been approved then I asked here when is my oath she say soon. u have to wait for oath invitation letter. I say can u please find out about my oath she say officer done with your file now your file is in clerk office WHO set your oath in Gainesville also she told me that there is a oath on June 24th 2010 , august 19th 2010. So again I asked her can u please call clerk to find out when and where is my oath she did call and then she get back to me and told me that your oath ceremony on June 24th 2010 @ 09.00am at Gainesville ,fl court house. And clerk also told IO that she is planning to mail OATH letter next week.

This is really helpful info! We are planning on going down to Jacksonville tomorrow for an Infopass appointment to do the same thing. I bet (hope) we'll find out that O is scheduled for the oath ceremony in Gainsville in June, too. I had heard there is a ceremony in Jacksonville on May 20th, so I wonder why you have to wait until June and why you have to go all the way to Gainesville?

Did she say anything about the oath ceremony on May 20th?

i am from gainseille and next oath ceremony on 24th june 2010.

and if you know may 20th is oath ceremony in jack son early in morning and request and see your luck dont go 19th go on 20th

Yes, there's a ceremony on May 20th at the Courthouse here in Jacksonville. The courthouse has a ceremony monthly , but I believe it is for people who live in the Jacksonville area.
