Oh wow nearly finished the file for the CR1 for my daughter and myself just a few other things to get together and then hand it over to Immigration .... What a huge document.

who is best to keep the originals me in the UK or Hubby in US.. ie. all the supporting evidence like phone bills, calling cards, birth certificates ect....

Also once posting the I130 and G325A is it best to get the I864 ready straight away?

We had 2 copies of the initial petition. I had one and my husband had one. Any original documents stayed with the person they belonged to: as in I kept my original birth certificate, he kept his, etc but we each had a copy.

You can do the I-864 right away but I'd hold off since tax returns will be completed before you need the I-864 and you'll need that most recent info for the I-864. You can begin the Ds-230 however.
