Hi, My fiancee Erma plans to go to Cebu on Monday Jan. 18th and try to go for the CFO on Tuesday the 19th, can anyone suggest to me how early she should arrive to make sure she is able to get in that day? She would like to return home the next day so we want to make sure she gets in on that day.

Thanks for any help and GOD bless!

James

My Fiancee did her CFO class in Manila last monday. She had to show 2 forms of identifcation. They would not accept her Postal I.D for identification so she showed them her Passport and they asked if she had her TIN# Bureau Of Internal Revenue, Thankfully she had this with her. She got there at 1pm and registered and was finished at 3:45pm.

Hope this helps.

I am from Cebu but I took the CFO in Manila after passing my interview last year. It was so quick. They asked for photocopies of two valid IDs. I heard from friends who were with me during the interview that Cebu makes it quite complicated and they do it for one whole day.

God bless us all.

Based on my experience with Cebu, I came back after I got my Visa because they asked for a copy of my fiance's BC or passport ( my husband now) to get the certificate and the sticker. It was good that during that time my husband was with me . He was with me during my interview at USEM.

Film showing and paper works are in the morning and interview with the staff is in the afternoon .

I would tell you 7am. They only allow 15 people per day, and its best if you're there early. My Fiance was done by 4:30pm... I was with her.

How can they come out and say they don't accept postal ID now? That's totally ridiculous. My fiance called up the one in Cebu and they do accept postal ID! She has a passport obviously but I think the only other picture ID she has is the postal ID. It takes so long to get an SSS. If they give her problems after she gets her visa I am going to be extremely pissed off.

Does your fiancee have a laminated TIN card? She may use that. What about her PRC license? Driver's license?

In my CFO experience in Manila on October 21 last year, they even told me that I could just use my NBI clearance and birth certificate. I think I presented my TIN and postal ID. They were cool. Since I began working, I didn't bother to get my SSS ID. When I passed the licensure exam, I didn't claim my PRC license either. I just detest queues in government offices.

Hakuna matata.

God bless us all.

She doesn't have a TIN ID because she's not employed. Also, in October or September she applied for the SSS but the wait for that is like 8 months or so. She doesn't drive so that doesn't help. She did call the CFO Cebu a couple months ago on the phone and the employees there said they accept postal ID. I hope it's not a problem.
