I-551 stamp

I am expecting my wife to be here in the USA by late next month. And, after all the trials and tribulations that she has gone through the CR-1 process, she deserves an enjoyable 7-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera. This cruise will serve as our second honeymoon; the first one in the Philippines having been abbreviated and disrupted by inclement weather.

My question is: Pending the issuance of her green card, will the I-551 to be stamped on her passport at the port of entry be sufficient enough to allow her to get back to the US from Mexico? Thanks for any and all replies!

The I-551 stamp on your wife's Philippine passport well let her back into the US from Mexico.

If your cruise ship docks in Cabo San Lucas for a day, don't forget to go on an optional land tour of the Los Cabos area. The landscape is quite pretty and, with the saguaro cactus everywhere, you might think you are in Arizona by the sea!
