Just a word of advice I tried, and succeeded with. I had been talking with the Embassy of Panama, prior to NVC completing case about possible quicker appointments, and so on. Because in reality, 45-60 days of waiting for an appointment is useless. They said yeah, they would try to help after NVC approved it. Well, NVC approved the case on December 12th, and I finally got an appointment date on 28th of Dec for Febuary 19th. So there again, over 45 days of waiting for no good reason really. I emailed the embassy of panama again, saying hey, case completed, whats the info for the doctors, and like we spoke of before, can we expedite this at all a little. (Also maybe my military status could play a role in it too). Anyhow, they said yes, send yoru wife in for the doctors appointment orders, and we will reschedule her while she is in. They SURE did. They gave her a January 18th appointment and said IF the packet shows up early, we can try to move it back more!!! So, I emailed them this week, got a response, packet recieved, rescheduled to JANUARY 12th!!! Now, I could not be happier at this point. Not saying every Embassy is capable of doing this. But, its at least worth a shot. I now removed about 36 days of useless waiting. So, wish us luck! Tuesday is the big day! From what I'm tracking the appointment is just to review documents, and ensure there is an ongoing, legal, and legit marriage correct? Best of luck to everyone, its been a GOOD week here.
