Since the instructions talk about a joint petition does it mean I have to send two forms I-175, one for me and one for my wife??

ONE I-751

Section 2, Basis for Petition, check option A which is based on a marriage to a USC and you are filing together (joint)

Section 7, Signature, both need to sign and date.

There are only 2 reasons to file the I-751:

- removing conditions as an investor

- removing conditions based on marriage to USC

In the latter case, the I-751 has to be filed JOINTLY, meaning by both: husband and wife. You both ask the USCIS to remove the condition attached to the Green Card . . . staying married to the petitioning US citizen spouse.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . .
